Nestled in the lush green hills of Southern Ohio, Portsmouth is the home of Vandervort's Ace Hardware. Our store is located at 1532 Gallia Street, just minutes from the great Ohio River.  Our selection of plumbing supplies, hardware, tools, paint, kitchen and bath products is second to none! Plus, we offer custom paint matching, key service, free computer aided kitchen and bath design service and a staff of helpful hardware folks to help you with any size project. In 1907 George Vandervort opened a small building wholesale store on the corner of Gallia St and Offnere St. in Portsmouth call Portsmouth Supply. That store soon became Vandervort's Supply. With the largest selection of cooking stoves, furnaces, plumbing and electrical supplies, his store soon became a local favorite in the community. Chad Horr bought the business in the 1940's and it has been family owned ever since.
